Yamaha has updated its ProVisionaire Plan and cloud-based ProVisionaire Cloud (Room Planner) acoustic design tools, with enhancements for more intuitive and flexible audio system design. These include enhanced visualization, position adjustment functionality and expanded room size support.

The automatic design functionality of ProVisionaire Plan and ProVisionaire Cloud (Room Planner) is highly regarded by users, but Yamaha is always listening to requests for additional features to improve flexibility and workflow. Three of the most common have been addressed in the latest update, enabling even better acoustic planning for conferencing environments.

Improved Design Result Dialog - More Intuitive Visualization of Automatic Design Results

The design evaluation screen has been redesigned to provide a clearer overview of the entire system, including microphones and speakers, also allowing users to review device information as required. This makes it easier to understand the design and expected acoustic performance, helping to streamline the preparation of proposals and pre-installation verification.

  • ProVisionaire Plan (or Room Planner) results screen. The status of microphone, speaker, and voice lift coverage is displayed using color coding and numerical indicators. Coverage areas and coverage rates are visualized, allowing users to quickly and intuitively assess the effectiveness of the system design.

Added Position Adjustment Functionality - More Flexibility for Installed Microphone and Speaker Placement

In addition, a new feature means user adjustment of microphone and speaker positions is now possible directly within the design data. This enables more flexible adaptation of room layouts and installation conditions, making it easier to fine-tune designs and accommodate on-site adjustments. *

  • ProVisionaire Plan (or Room Planner) design screen. The room layout view shows microphones and speakers being repositioned via drag-and-drop. Users can evaluate and optimize device placement according to the actual installation environment.

Supports Room Designs up to 20m x 20m for More Versatility

Finally, the maximum supported room size has been expanded to 20m x 20m, enabling designs for larger spaces and further increasing the versatility of ProVisionaire Plan and ProVisionaire Cloud (Room Planner).

Yamaha ProVisionaire Plan can be tried for free, with no registration required. For more information on all of Yamaha’s ProVisionaire installed audio system planning, design and operation products, please visit the product page.
