Yamaha Joins Q-SYS Technology Partner Program
Hamamatsu, Japan, June 6th, 2024 - Yamaha is pleased to announce it has joined the Q-SYS Technology Partner Program. This program enables software and hardware technology partners to create market-ready solutions that integrate seamlessly with Q-SYS, a cloud-manageable audio, video, and control platform.
Yamaha is committed to providing ADECIA customers with even greater flexibility and connectivity. As part of the program, Yamaha has worked closely with Q-SYS, who has fully vetted and endorsed Yamaha’s ADECIA RM-CG Ceiling Array Microphone plugin integration with a Q-SYS Certified badge (developed with Q-SYS and supported by Yamaha and Q-SYS).
This new plugin leverages ADECIA RM-CG's multi-beam tracking commands for talker-based camera switching enabling meeting equity in various environments such as corporate meeting spaces, universities and government offices. The plugin allows users to configure and connect via IP address, view device information and status as well as control the devices settings such as tracking speed, automix settings per channel, mic gain, LED mode, and more.
In addition, the ADECIA RM-CG Ceiling Array Microphone will be selectable within a future release of Q-SYS Automatic Camera Preset Recall (ACPR) plugin where customers can use the ADECIA RM-CG as part of Q-SYS intelligent audio capabilities, without the need for additional programming.
Thomas Hemery, Senior General Manager of Yamaha Professional Solutions Division says, “With this certification and participation in the Q-SYS Technology Partner Program, we can help solve the ecosystem complexities of today's conferencing environment. We will deliver a high-quality conferencing experience through the integration of ADECIA ceiling microphones and the Q-SYS Platform.”
“We are proud to have Yamaha join our program and work collaboratively with us on a plugin integration that will enable elevated experiences across our shared customers,” says Geno Zaharie, Principal, Alliances & Ecosystem, Q-SYS.
