This is the moment.

May 31st, 2022 was a milestone date in the history of the grand piano.
On this day, we launched the new flagship Yamaha CFX Concert Grand, born of a passion for continuous improvement, combining tradition and innovation to create that special moment when player and piano come together in perfect harmony.

At this very special online launch event we discovered insights from the Piano Design Team at Yamaha Japan, and were treated to an exclusive performance from world-renowned pianist
Stephen Hough and the Philharmonia Orchestra, conducted by Gergely Madaras,
at The Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre, London.

If you missed the event, or would like to watch again,
you can do so until 23.59 CEST on 5th June 2022.

Always refining. Always improving.

One hundred and twenty years since unveiling its first ever grand piano, Yamaha’s passion for continually improving designs, materials and manufacturing techniques burns as brightly as ever. Combining traditional crafting techniques with cutting-edge innovation, our new flagship concert grand is the result of a twelve-year development program including extensive collaborations with over one hundred of the world’s most respected concert pianists.
