YPAO™

YPAO (Yamaha Parametric room Acoustic Optimizer) analyses the room acoustics and your system, then precisely adjusts various audio parameters to provide the best sound for your room. Simply by placing the supplied microphone at your listening position and switching YPAO on, the system is automatically tuned for optimum performance in your home theatre room.

Virtual Presence Speaker

CINEMA DSP 3D provides a wide, high and dense sound field, while HD Audio format decoding lets you enjoy HD Audio sources. Moreover, the Virtual Presence Speaker function delivers three-dimensional sound without the actual use of presence speakers — giving you a rich sound field virtually equivalent to 7.1-channel surround, even with a 5.1-speaker configuration.

The NS-P41 speakers are tuned to deliver a clear, soft sound that is pleasant to listen to for long periods. In addition, the surround speakers and subwoofer are perfectly matched for smooth sound crossover. They deliver a rich, expansive sound — not only for your TV sound, but also music and movies.

All of the speakers feature the traditional look of Yamaha speakers. Their clean design matches their high sound quality, and they can be placed in any convenient location.

Advanced YST II combines negative-impedance and constant current principles to drive the speaker cone with tight control. It optimises effective speaker impedance to maintain stable and accurate low range response and high sound pressure levels, for more natural and energetic bass reproduction.
