Yamaha Announces Premium Y7 Reverb For RIVAGE PM Systems In Collaboration With Bricasti Design

Through regular software updates to its RIVAGE PM digital mixing systems, Yamaha is able to bring sound engineers the very best quality and most user-friendly features. The latest of these, to be released with Firmware V4.7 in mid-December, is the premium Y7 reverb, developed in close collaboration with Bricasti Design.

RIVAGE PM7 Helps Support Wroclaw Culture

The 3-Majówka Festival usually takes place in early May, on several major stages in and around the Centennial Hall in Wroclaw, Poland. Although this year’s event had to be cancelled, in mid-September a condensed version with a single outdoor stage was held as rules were initially relaxed a little, renamed Last Minute Summer Festival - WrocLove 2020. Production company PogoArt deployed Yamaha RIVAGE PM7 and CL series mixers, together with a NEXO STM PA system.

Y-DACC Singapore Appointed First Dante Certification Training Center

Audinate(R), the inventor of industry-standard audio networking solution Dante(R), is expanding its global training services by collaborating with universities, trade schools and flagship manufacturer training centers to establish Dante Certified Training Centers (DCTC). With a long and successful working relationship on Dante implementation, it was natural that Yamaha would be chosen by Audinate as the first to deliver immersive, hands-on Dante training and to administer exams for sound and video engineers. The world’s first DCTC has recently opened at Yamaha’s Digital Audio Creative Center in Singapore.

Zepp Lands Armed and Ready in Taipei

The Zepp Hall Network, part of the concert-going experience in Japan since 1997, has arrived in Taiwan. The Zepp concept, whereby all venues are permanently installed with standardised sound and lighting systems, 4K projection and stage machinery, offers advantages to tour promoters and artists alike. Nine pre-equipped Zepp venues in Daiba, Fukuoka, Haneda, Nagoya, Namba Osaka, Osaka Bay Side, Sapporo, Tokyo and Yokohama allow bands to simply turn up and play without having to stage a full production.
