Yamaha’s New SILENT Brass Wins at Red Dot Design Awards 2014
Yamaha revolutionary new SILENT Brass™ was awarded the prestigious Red Dot Award Product Design 2014, organised by Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen, Germany.
One of the most prestigious design awards in the world with a total of 4,815 products being entered in 2014. The new SILENT Brass™ was entered in the Product Design category where winners are selected based upon their design innovation and functionality.
The third major award won by SILENT Brass™, it further recognises how the compact new design and ground-breaking Brass Resonance Modeling™ system is the perfect solution to the needs of the modern brass musician.
To celebrate the 2014 awards, an online exhibition will be presented on the official Red Dot website from 7th July, 2014, and the new SILENT Brass™ will also be exhibited at the “Red Dot Design Museum" in Essen, Germany, from the 8th July, 2014.
Available for trumpet, trombone, flugel horn and French horn, the new SILENT Brass™ has already received some outstanding feedback from musicians and is the must have practice tool for brass players.
