DISKLAVIER COMPOSERS CONTEST 2022

The Disklavier Composers Contest - organised by Yamaha in collaboration with Cremona Musica - is a composition competition aimed to unite Yamaha's innovative technology and the creative genius of today's composers!

Contestants can use the many possibilities of Disklavier technology to compose an original musical piece.

An international jury will select the finalists and then choose the winner on the closing night. The winner will receive the first prize of €5,000.

Additionally, Casa Musicale Sonzogno will publish the winning piece, inserting the title in its catalog.

The final will take place on September 25th in the beautiful city of Cremona, Italy.

There are no limits to your imagination in the Disklavier Composers Contest!

WHAT IS YAMAHA DISKLAVIER?

Through more than thirty years of research and continuous development, the Disklavier technology enables Yamaha acoustic and grand pianos to accurately reproduce performances.

Access an extensive digital catalogue of sheet music and recordings in a variety of genres, and let the Disklavier play your favourite pieces on its own.

When played back, the Disklavier replicates every nuance of touch and pedal movement with extreme precision.
