Franco Cardaropoli
Franco Cardaropoli is born in 1974 in Salerno and started to study music as he was 7 years old. Cardaropoli got the Doctorate in Percussion at Conservatorio “S. Pietro a Maiella” in Neaples on 1995.
He attended the Master Courses at the Music Academy in Fiesole and at the Teatro La Scala Academy in Milan.
He is very active as timpani player with Scarlatti Chamber Orchestra, Verdi Opera House in Salerno and “Filarmonica Marchigiana”. He’s the founder of the Percussion Ensemble “Rhythmic”.
More than a traditional classical player, Franco Cardaropoli is very active as studio performer for movie sound-tracks and ethnic percussion. Cardaropoli was many time on tour with some of the most important Italian pop singers like Lino Cannavacciuolo and Massimo Ranieri.
From 2000 till today, Franco Cardaropoli is a member of the Teatro S. Carlo Opera House Orchestra receiving very good comments from many directors such as M° Zubin Mehta, Andriy Yurkvitch and Peter Maag.
