I started playing drums in elementary school with my brother on guitar.At our first gig I met Omar Naber. We started a band 18 years ago. I recorded all 4 albums for the famous singer Omar Naber, the first one was also best-selling album in Slovenia. Omar represented Slovenia on Eurovision song contest in Kiev, Ukraine in 2005 with his hit single STOP and in 2017 with song On my way. I recorded albums for different slovenian musicians as well.

Over the past 18 years with Omar we played 400+ concerts all over the Europe from London, Moscow to Vienna. I played for the singer Andraž Hribar as well and also for different hip hop artists from Slovenia and some other bands and singers.

I am now playing, besides in Omar Naber's band, in The Fakerrs (rock'n'roll cover band), in DDV (Maki Ramone's punk rock) and in Astrid Lindgren (indie rock grunge).

I am also a drum teacher in Little school of R'N'R in elementary school teaching 40+ kids individually each year age 5 to 15, including kids with special needs (ADHD, down syndrome...)

I made my own beginner’s drum manual DRUMS 1 2 3 4 and invented special drum notes, charts especially for kids.

I prefer pop, funk, rock and punk music. No matter what is the venue or the band I am with or even a music genre yamaha drums and hardware are always amazing and cut through, not to mention warm, deep and beautiful sound in the studio.

In our music school we use yamaha gigmaker drumkit for 5 years now, daily.

Besides drumming I'm also physics teacher in elementary school, a civil engineer by profession and a father of two young daughters.

After all these years Yamaha drums and hardware are number one choice for me in the studio on the stage and also in school.
