It has been 10 years since Yamaha introduced its MONTAGE synthesizer in 2016. In that time, we have reexamined the value of hardware synthesizers and created one era-defining technology after another, for example the revolutionary Motion Control sound control feature and the Super Knob for multidimensional tonal variation. The MONTAGE family has never stopped evolving, adding the mid-range MODX Series, the commemorative MONTAGE White model, and the latest MONTAGE M and MODX M models. As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Yamaha synthesizers, we look back on the trajectory of the MONTAGE Series, which fuses technology created by our predecessors with new inspiration to chart a new path for the future of musical expression.
