Disklavier E3

Yamaha unveils the latest addition to its award winning range of Disklavier Pianos with the introduction of the new entry level Disklavier E3 series that offers easy enjoyment combined with ease of use and Yamaha elegance at a highly affordable price.

The new E3 exemplifies the best traditions of Yamaha's exceptional acoustic piano craftsmanship and cutting edge digital music technology to offer an affordable solution for new customers seeking the powerful performance, features and functionality that has established Yamaha’s Disklavier range as the world’s most technologically advanced pianos and the ultimate home entertainment system to accompany those with a luxurious home and lifestyle.

DC2E3

Easy to operate and with the unrivalled touch and tone of a traditional Yamaha acoustic piano at its heart, the elegant and stylish E3 uses a remarkable digital system that lets the instrument play itself reproducing the experience of a live artist performance complete with moving keys and pedals. Players can simply record their performance, then using the E3’s remote control, sit back and enjoy hearing and feeling every note and nuance exactly as they played it.

Whilst the E3 does incorporate key features from the MKIV it also has the added benefit of a much easier and simpler interface so that users can realise the full benefits quickly. These include video sync capabilities that allow the player to video his or her performance with a camcorder, then sync the video to the piano keys and pedals precisely replicating the performance that can be watched simultaneously on TV. Other features include the ability to play whisper-soft sounds, maintaining precise audio clarity and dynamics at extremely low volumes; and the capability to record and transfer music from one Disklavier to another using a USB memory stick - especially useful for students to record their teacher's material for practice.

With more than 400 songs included in a special CD pack as well as Internet Connectivity, the new Disklavier E3 supports Yamaha's groundbreaking Disklavier Radio that brings pianos to life through unlimited access to 11 different channels of streaming piano music, covering 11 different music genres from Classical to Jazz to Pop and Rock - 24 hours a day; plus the Disklavier Music Store offers songs with both piano and MIDI accompaniment tracks, which users can purchase and download.

Mark Rolfe, Director for Pianos for Yamaha Music Europe comments: “Disklaviers are first and foremost a great Yamaha Piano totally without compromise, however they do have the added fun and benefits of some wonderful high-tech features that can bring a totally fresh approach to Piano playing and performance . All for a really competitive price, the Disklavier E3 series is great news for piano dealers and the new audience of customers that it introduces to the sheer elegance, versatility and performance quality of Yamaha Disklavier pianos.”
