Tenori-On O (Orange) and W (White)

Media artist Toshio Iwai collaborated with Yamaha to design a totally new musical instrument. The Tenori-on combines a MIDI controller, tone generator, sampler and stunning visual user interface. Most importantly it’s a unique new way to approach playing and composing music. Music instantly becomes a wall of light graffiti as you paint the sounds across its 256 LED buttons. The Tenori-on White is focused on live performance with its two-sided LED display - so audiences can see the unique Tenori-on visual displays. And it can be battery operated for moving around on stage. The new lower priced Orange model is functionally exactly the same as the original White except it cannot be battery operated and it has 256 orange LEDs on one side of its unique hands on interface. The Tenori-on Orange will appeal to producers, music production home studios and anyone who wants to instantly start making music visually.
