On 13th of August the 17 years old winner of the Yamaha Trumpet Contest 2009 Category Jazz Amateur Christian Mehler visited our Atelier Hamburg. Due to his success he was invited to select a Yamaha Trumpet from the whole range of professional models. During the day Christian tested several models to find the perfect trumpet for his requirements. After some small modifications done by Thomas Lubitz, he found – as Christian said “his new love” in the brand new European XENO Trumpet Model YTR-8335SEU. We are sure that you will hear a lot more from this young and talented trumpet player in the future.
Christian about his Day at Yamaha:
"I'm glad to had the chance to test the best of the best of Yamaha Trumpets. Additionally I was really impressed about the friendliness and the competence of the Yamaha Team. The whole day was a great opportunity and I got so many positive things, especially a great new Trumpet."
